Students are given the opportunity to tour schools of interest and our school counselor schedules the tours for our military family members.

What resources and educational opportunities do you offer for military children?

Waller offers several opportunities for military students to include participation in T.A.G. program through our STEAM classes. Waller ensures that our military families receive an array of educational resources to include access to online programs such as iReady and digital resources provided through Bay District Schools. Students can easily access those resources through individual canvas courses on student issued chrome books.

How do military children access mental health services on your campus?

Waller has a Triad mental health team, and provides community care referrals for students (at the parents request). Waller also has a tiered system of support for behavior to include assigning a trusted adult for daily check in and check out. This program builds relationships and provides students with a safe adult on campus. Waller also has a school social worker who works directly with families to meet the needs of all students.
